The Bobby Boyd Leadership Lecture series recently returned to the UNC School of Social Work. On March 29th, Angie Stephenson was a panelist on “Power, Privilege, and Positionality: Social Work Leadership Levers.” The event focused on legal leaders in NC who have an MSW but are not engaged in traditional social work. Instead, in their legal roles, they are working to improve “the lives of individuals and communities using the levers of power, privilege and positionality.”
